| US DOT Number |
|
Each motor carrier that starts interstate operations must obtain a US DOT number from the FMCSA. TMTC assists motor carriers with completing and filing the application for this number. |

| BOC-3 (Process Agents) |
|
In order to receive a permit from FMCSA, trucking companies must have process agents in each state. A process agent is a legal representative who receives court papers on behalf of a trucking company. TMTC assists trucking companies in obtaining process agents and filing of the BOC-3 with FMCSA. |

| Unified Carrier Registration (UCR) |
|
The UCR Program, which replaced Single State Registration (SSR), requires all individuals and companies that operate commercial motor vehicles in interstate or international commerce to register their business and pay an annual fee based on the size of the fleet. TMTC assists with the completion and filing of the UCR application. |

| Intrastate Authority (TX Dot) |
|
Operation of commercial vehicles exclusively within your base state is considered Intrastate. Intrastate operation requires compliance with applicable state and local regulations. In Texas, intrastate motor carriers are required to register with Tx Dot. TMTC assists trucking companies with intrastate compliance within their base state in Texas and other states. |

| IFTA License |
|
Commercial vehicles operating interstate should obtain an IFTA permit and decals through their base state. All states require vehicles with a gross weight that exceeds 26,000 to pay tax on fuel consumed. TMTC files for IFTA license and decals in all states. |

| IRP Plate (Apportion) |
|
Carriers operating in two or more states may obtain apportion plates through their base state. The International Registration Plan (IRP) provides for carriers to pay license fees to each state based on the total distance traveled in all states. |

| KYU Number |
|
A KYU number is a tax license number issued for the Kentucky Weight Distance Tax. Any carrier with vehicles grossed over 59,999 lbs traveling in Kentucky is subject to this tax. TMTC aids in filing for the KYU number, as well as filing of the quartery tax reports. |

| NM Tax ID Permit |
|
New Mexico requires motor carriers to pay a per mile tax. If this tax is not paid at the port of entry, a Tax Identification Permit is required and the per mile tax is paid quarterly. TMTC provides both services of applying for permits and preparation and filing of quarterly tax returns. |

| OR Tax ID Permit |
|
The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) requires all motor carriers operating vehicles in excess of 26,000 lbs on public roads in Oregon to pay weight distance tax. The Motor Carrier Transportation Division in Oregon issues a Weight Receipt and Tax Identifier for each vehicle. TMTC provides both services of filing for the weight receipts, and preparing and filing of quarterly or monthly tax returns. |

| IRS Form 2290 - Federal Heavy Vehicle Use Tax |
|
All commercial vehicles with a registered gross weight of 55,000 lbs or more are required to file a return annually and pay the tax to the IRS. TMTC prepares the Heavy Vehicle Use Tax returns and hand delivers them to the IRS office in Houston. |

| Mileage & Fuel Auditing (Record Management) |
|
All interstate vehicles with apportion registration (IRP) and fuel decals (IFTA) are required by law to maintain mileage documents and fuel receipts. Trucking companies and individuals can take advantage of our record management service. Documents are submitted to TMTC on a monthly basis, then we audit them for accuracy and recap them. We also provide educational materials for your drivers to give them the tools they need to prepare their individual vehicle mileage records completely and accurately. |

Quarterly IFTA & Mileage Tax Reporting

Based on the figures from the Record Management service mentioned above, TMTC files quarterly IFTA reports and mileage tax reports. Oregon mileage reports may also be filed on a monthly basis, depending on the state's requirement for a particular carrier. |

Trucking companies are required in some cases to file annual property tax reports in the states of Arkansas and Kansas. TMTC prepares the returns and forwards them to the states. Property taxes are billed by the states based on the reports filed. |
